Safe in Thailand

Hi all

This is just to let you know that we're safe in Thailand, at the very comfortable Hotel Atlanta, where we slept a full twelve hours last night, after a pleasant 24 hours in Mumbai and a lot of flying about. More blogging will follow soon - and the pictures from Kenya will be up in the next few days, but I'll date them at the end of January (so if you can't see them, just click January in the menu on the right).

Hoorah! Great to know you have arrived safely - enjoy your time in Thailand - I have very fond memories of being with Tilly and Joe there -Tilly was 11 months old with hair to her waist - the Thais thought she was delightful and called her "Chilli"! We used to rock her to sleep in the waves of the warm sea and put her under a palm tree to snooze in the afternoon. Do have some hot spicey sour Tom Ka soup - the best food in the world!

The news from here -Dad and Yvette are safely home. We had a fantastic visit to Leam for Mum's Birthday and saw lovely friends and ate delicious food. Tilly is busy writing a biography on Van Gogh, booking her classmate Henry to play Hendrix at her Birthday party and learning to knit (which is more than I can do!). Stan (when prized away from his gameboy) is playing lots of football (three hat tricks in one game on Tuesday - and I think there was a goalie!), growing his hair long and begging for an electric guitar.

Lots of love to you all Sasha xxxx
