Waiting for Jo to arrive

Hello, Rosa here, me and dad are sitting in the airport, waiting for Jo's flight to arive. It wont be here for another 1hr yet! So I thought i would write a blog! The internet here is, wait for it, 250 baht (about 3.50 pounds) for an hour!!! Thats about 210 baht an hour more than normal!! Well we are in an airport I suppose. But anyway.

We have been in Chang Mai and Chang Rai for the last week. Having fun in the Night Markets (Chang Mai's Sunday Night Market was the best!!!) Bought lots of little goodies!!! We got a flight from Chang Rai to Bangkok. We left about half an hour after Seamus and his mate Xander went off to there 2 day trek!! We might do a 2 day horse riding trek when we go back up there.

Chang Mai was really nice!! We stayed in the Old Town. The street we stayed in was a little alleyway and it was gorgeous, it was like being in a seaside town but slightly off the beach!! The sun bathed the street and it was warm but not hot (it is up in the hills so cooler than bangkok). We got a sleeper train up there, (the beds were massive on the bottom and tiny on the top so (even though I am bigger) mum got the bottom bunk, and i was squished at the top!!!) on Sunday, so we went to the Sunday Market that night.

We hung around there for a few days, and then got the VIP bus up to Chang Rai (cold place!! Even higher than Chang Mai). Chang Rai was nice, and we stayed in a place with a pool. There was a nice Night Market, and we went there nearly every night!! At the night market there were people who could paint your nails, so i got mine done (bright pink with white patterns) they are now almost totally picked clean!!! We met a little Swedish girl called Delphina (she was half Thai and had excellent English for a 5 yr old from Sweden!!!) we made friends with her and her parents, they are travelling South-East Asia for 6 months before Delphina starts school (they don't start till 6 yrs in Sweden). We fished in a little pool thing using our hands as nets!!! We caught a supprising number and maneged not to kill more than 2!!! I pestered Seamus and Xander (as is my duty as younger cousin!!!) and they got annoyed but only Seamus showed it!! Also in Chang Rai they had a Boots!! And me, mum, and melissa went there on a spending spree!!

All together we had a wonderful time and I think Seamus, Diane and Xander enjoyed it to!!

luv yall
